About Alan

I’ve been in real estate since 2006 and founded Castle Realty on January 13, 2010, with our headquarters in La Crosse, Wisconsin. From the beginning, I wanted Castle to be more than just a real estate company—it’s also a technology company. Through our sister company, ABC Amplified, LLC, we’ve been building innovative platforms that bring real value to Agents, Brokers, and Consumers (ABC).

Since 2012, we’ve been programming our own software in-house, and in December 2025 we’ll be releasing our most robust and comprehensive platform yet—one so imaginative and effective it could even make Willy Wonka pause to admire the ingenuity.

But for me, real estate has always been about more than selling properties. At Castle Realty, we’re delivering dreams and helping build the communities we live in and love.

Community Give Back:

At Castle Realty, giving back is at the heart of who we are. We believe it’s our responsibility to support the community that has supported us. Over the years, Alan and the Castle Team have been proud to support causes like Steppin’ Out in Pink for breast cancer research, and they continue to actively participate in Feed My Starving Children, where the team personally packs meals for children in need. Every REALTOR® at Castle Realty is encouraged—and expected—to find a way to give back as a gesture of gratitude to the community we serve.

Family:

Alan and his wife—who is also a Broker/Owner and REALTOR® at Castle Realty—share a beautiful life together with their four children. Family time is precious, and this year has been filled with outdoor adventures: cruising on their Chaparral boat, hiking scenic trails, biking, and canoeing.

Bucket List:

Alan believes that life should be lived with intention and joy. He encourages every REALTOR®, staff member, and family member to create a bucket list, reminding them that while Castle Realty sets high standards for professional excellence, it’s equally important to pursue personal dreams. One of his favorite mottos is to create “Magical Moments” with family and friends—because those memories are truly priceless.

In 2023, Castle Realty and one of its Agents were voted “Best of La Crosse County.”  This is a huge honor with Castle carrying the #1 position four (4) of the five (5) years.  We focus on internal team growth and how to support one another, our clients, and our community.   

Historically, Castle and it’s Agents/Staff participated in numerous community activities including Steppin’ Out In Pink, Adopting a Family for the Holidays, La Crosse Neighbor’s Day, Back to School Drives for Local Children, heading up the first-ever Joy of Sharing Event with WKBT and Festival Foods which helped collect thousands of toys, approx. 10,000 pounds of food and approx. $50,000 in monetary donations that had been distributed back to the Coulee Region! We also volunteered for the Color for Kindness: Suicide Prevent and Awareness Color Run, Organized a Donation Drive for a Local Animal Shelter and many more Random Acts of Kindness Pay It Forward events!
